Current stage — 3 October 2026
Google account setup is complete. A bounded, read-only Google canary has completed. That result does not authorize recurring collection, automated actions, or disclosure to an external AI provider. The first personal-data AI pilot remains subject to separate owner approval and reviewed local safeguards.
Planned Google account access
After separate owner authorisation, the application is intended to read events on calendars the owner owns and limited Gmail metadata, such as permitted message headers and labels, for private daily planning.
Gmail message bodies, snippets, raw messages and attachments are excluded. The Google integration does not send email or create, modify or delete calendar events or Gmail messages.
Local control
Personal state remains under the owner's control on the local device. AI-generated analysis and proposals do not automatically become accepted personal records or trigger external actions.
For one separately authorised pilot, Marcus may locally preview and approve at most one Calendar observation and one Gmail metadata observation for transfer over HTTPS to OpenAI's API for private Daily Operations synthesis. The model context is limited to temporary run-local references, source type, a necessary timestamp, status and the exact short event title or email Subject that Marcus has approved or replaced. Account identity, sender/recipient addresses, event descriptions, locations, attendees, Gmail bodies, snippets, raw messages, attachments, credentials and unrelated personal records are excluded. The pilot uses gpt-6-luna with medium reasoning, store=false, background=false and no tools. It does not train general-purpose models; API data-sharing/training opt-in must be disabled before execution. No recurring transfer is authorised. A changed or unsafe preview aborts the call.
